Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke is recovering at home from injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run accident on his motorcycle on Sunday, January 10. He suffered three broken bones in his left foot/ankle and a broken bone in his right foot. He had one successful surgery last week, which "went well," he writes on his blog. He adds, "If everything looks good Friday, I can have the second surgery next week."

Jesus Christo that looks like hell. I broke my pinky finger sliding back into third base. I thought I was about to score, but the girl...ok it was a guy...halted my forward progress. I had to slide safely back into third where I broke my pinky finger.

It hurt for DAYS and it still isn't set right. If you ever see me at a show, ask me about it. I'll show you. But I just can't image broken legs where some screw has to be drilled into bone. It makes my ass pucker thinking about it...or is my ass puckering thinking about the weekend? Either way, it's puckered.
