Today is FAIL day on BnR. At the Critics Choice Movie Awards there was a tribute to the late, great film maker John Hughes. Death Cab for Cutie was hand selected to do a cover version of the Simple Minds classic Don't You (Forget About Me). Like all things Death Cab for Cutie does, they butchered it. It is the worst cover of this song, I have ever heard. A song so iconic for the 80s, has been slaughtered.

I actually tried to slit my wrists listening to their version, but I forgot it was down the street not across the road.
