Stone Sour recently announced that they are back in the studio to record their third album. They are teaming up with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Velvet Revolver). He also produced the bands gold certified album Come What(ever) May. Frontman  is Corey Taylor very excited to record a new album.

I think Stone Sour has their work cut out for them. Their last album Come What(ever)May was a great album and really put them on the map with their number one hit Through Glass. Lead singer Corey Taylor got the opportunity to show how much talent he has as a singer. In my opinion, they could have had a lot more singles off Come What(ever)May. I was never a big Slipknot fan. I agree that Stone Sour is a more "radio friendly" band then Slipknot, so I am looking forward to a new Stone Sour album.
