System of a Down Reuniting?
System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian posted the following message on his Twitter profile late last night (Monday, January 11): "Are u guys ready for System???"
We don't know what this means, but we can only infer what it means. I am guessing since the various side projects of each member has not matched the heights of System of a Down it is time to headline arenas again.
I distinctly remember in an interview promoting his solo Elect the Dead in 2007, SoaD vocalist Serj Tankian said:
"I don't know," he replied. "That's the truth. I mean, we've taken an indefinite hiatus and we just said, you know, when we're all ready to come back and take time from our own things and do something together we will, if and when we want to. And it's been left at that."
I guess three years is enough time to realize instead of playing half empty club they could be playing full arenas.
I don't really mind System, but I do think they can be just noise. But I haven't seen a band be as socially aware (and by proxy their fans) since Rage Against the Machine. And for that, I applaud SoaD. I caught a picture of Bob Wettner as I told him this news:

I must also add that the first man to threaten to kill me was SoaD guitarist Daron Malakian. But that is another story for another time.
