Soundgarden Reuniting, Don't Be Fooled by Suits
Ok, some suits are getting involved and claiming that Chris Cornell's
Twitter announcement didn't really mean that Soundgarden was reuniting.
The post from Chris Cornell reads: "The 12-year break is over and school is back in session. Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!"
The Knights of the Soundtable is the Soundgarden fan club. My question to you is: why would you reactivate your fanclub, if you were not planning anything in the realm of presales, exclusive video/content, etc? The answer is...you wouldn't.
This is the suits retracting the message because they want a big fucking press release, perhaps live streaming video of the announcement to air on FUSE TV. They want the internet community clamoring for details and pissing themselves trying to get the exclusive rights to the announcement.
Fuck that shit. It is all a smoke screen. This half-assed reporter is sticking by his guns and saying Soundgarden is touring this year. Read our first post on this here.
