Did Kurt Cobain Have Vision of Nickelback Future?

Thanks to a facebook friend (CA) (www.facebook.com/blogsnroses), I may have overlooked an important event in Rock history. Could Kurt Cobain have been predicting the rise of Nickelback and chose suicide instead of living in a world saturated by Nickelback?

First I had to research Nickelback. The band was formed in Hanna, Alberta, Canadia in 1995. This is about 15 hours north of Seattle. Mike Kroeger worked in Starbucks (home base Seattle). But sadly, Kurt died in 1994. This put the formation of Nickelback past the death date of Kurt Cobain. This eliminates him ACTUALLY knowing about Nickelback and thus was the reason he committed suicide.

A few individuals believe Kurt Cobain was a prophet though. They have shrines to his existence, wear his image on their clothing, invest in Shrouds of Cobain, and try to buy up all his merchandise. Me, I only have a bubble gum statue I made of Kurt when I was 15. But I thought, maybe heroin was the key to his prophetic vision. So I set out to buy heroin to prove my theory.

Unfortunately, not being street wise I went to the only place I know that has heroin, the police station evidence room. I attempted to purchase heroin there, but was locked up. Now, pending the outcome of my court case, could be doing some community service. The cops might drop the charges since my defense is "I am too fat to be a heroin addict." It seemed to work, at least helped me make bail.

Here is my arrest photo:

Kurt Cobain as a member of Nickelback would have been interesting.

It looks you got out just in time to share the story with us. If you didn't brought the "I am too fat to be a heroin addict" argument they would have probably sent you to get heroin addiction help. Welcome back!
