Soundgarden Officially Reuniting
Back when I was taking ACID to be more lucid, I found an article quote Brent from Shinedown who hinted at a Soundgarden reunion. That prophet, was correct. Soundgarden has indeed reunited and will be touring in 2010.
Now it is time for me to play the role of prophet. What will this reunion mean for Soundgarden. They will release a box set consisting of their hits and some rare B-sides. They will tour behind this box set and throughout the tour the talk will be about a new Soundgarden album. This album will fuel the talk through out the tour, but you will only hear the hits in concert.
As the tour is winding down, the usual moody Chris Cornell will not be able to get along with his teammates or decide that his artistic vision is no longer being represented. He will quit Soundgarden and release another solo record three weeks after he leaves.
In the meantime, we, the fans, will get to see this great 90's band and enjoy their hits live on last time in an arena setting. Just don't expect anything else other than a cash grab from this tour.
