The holidays always puts me in the mood for some Misfits. I think it is the doom and gloom aspect of their music. It makes my inevitable disappointing present seem palpable.

The "American Psycho" lineup of the resurrected Misfits (minus Jerry Only) reunited for a one-time performance this past Saturday (December 26) at the Starland Ballroom in Sayersville, New Jersey on. Headlining the show was Danzig.

Fans of the Misfits know that this lineup had Michale Graves on vocals. Graves has been busy on his own working with Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg. Here is a performance video of the lineup doing Lost in Space.

That Dee Snider looking thing in the right hand corner is Gorgeous Frankenstein's lead singer (and wife of Doyle von Frankenstein) Gorgeous George of WCW fame. I threw that trivia bit in for Vic Wettner, the resident wrestling idiot savant.



I am too lazy to research this, but I think the American Psycho lineup had the highest charting single for the Misfits. Dig Up Her Bones can be seen below.
