I have created an iTunes playlist of the big four of Thrash in anticipation of this announcement. I put on my Everlast weight belt and as the music begins to play I start punching my Guido Punching Bag.

Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will be doing a few shows together. The only announced dates seems to be European festivals. The festivals are Sonisphere in Warsaw, Poland and Prague, Czech Republic on June 16 and 19, 2010.

I wouldn't be shocked if this lineup hits a few stadiums in the States. Metallica can sell out a stadium alone. If you add in Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax, I can't see that lineup having trouble selling tickets. There have been no other dates added, but a message on Metallica.com says: "a few more of the festival dates still in the works, you can be sure these shows won't be the only ones."

Check out this poster for the event in Poland. There is no doubt that Metallica is the headliner. They should be, but at least pair down the size of your band's name.
