Weezer Offering Colorful Pack for Fans
I like Weezer, but I am not IN LOVE with Weezer. I had an ex-girlfriend who thought Weezer was the greatest band in the world. She actually tattooed their logo on her lower back, which I thought was cool for the first 2 months (you know you like a target guys, don't lie) but it was like Rivers Cuomo was there watching me with his dork glasses.
My ex had all the albums and tired to get them to sync up with Donnie Darko in a significant way. They never did. However, if you are unlike her (congrats!) you might need a few albums to supplement your collection.
Weezer's three self-titled albums, affectionately known as the Blue, Green and Red albums, are currently available on iTunes as one bundle for the low, low price of $19.99. That's right twenty bucks for songs like The Sweater Song, Island in the Sun, and Buddy Holly and whatever slop they released on that shit Red album.
Suspiciously absent from this deal is Weezer's best album Pinkerton. Why they didn't include the best album they ever made is beyond me. But hey, you get the Red album with those great Weezer classics like Trouble maker and Pork and Beans (our review).
