Them Crooked Vultures Album

I had a few friends attend the concert a few weeks ago in Philadelphia and they hated the show. They band only played new songs, which makes sense, but it is tough for people to dance/mosh to when they don't know the song. The friends said each member had excellent stage presence, but that it just wasn't that great of a show.

    You're friends are obviously idiots.
Why put on your website what your friends think? Especially if it's negative. Tell us what you thought of the music you've heard so far, or if you don't like TCV, don't post anything at all...

The greatest thing about having your own website is you can write whatever you feel like. So my friend's feelings on such concerts are fair game.

I think their attitude and first hand experience is a valid one. When Velvet Revolver first hit the scene they played the music they wrote together and music everyone knew (Guns N' Roses/STP). The concert, in a small club, was one of the best they did.

No one has heard any of Them Crooked Vultures outside of a few live recordings on YouTube and you can't judge the quality of that. My friends were not impressed with the show. Maybe if they heard the music before hand they would have had a different feeling about it.

And for the record, I have commented on what I heard of them before.

But I am not going to judge their material on what thirty second samples I hear or fan filmed YouTube clips. I will wait, like everyone else, to hear the music on Monday. You can check back then for a full review of the song.
