Sweden's Expressen TV (Expressen newspaper's online video channel) has posted video footage of EUROPE frontman Joey Tempest commenting on what has been dubbed "the worst cover band ever" performing a disastrous version of the EUROPE mega-smash "The Final Countdown". Also available is the original YouTube clip of "the worst cover band ever"'s performance — which has been viewed nearly 1.5 million times so far — and footage of EUROPE playing the same song live in 1986.

Tempest's comments on the video are hilarious and I have always wondered if he had a) seen the video and if he had b) what he thought about it. Thanks to Expressen TV, I now know. Awesome.

In other Europe news, Europe will embark on a nine-date tour of the U.K. in February 2010. Support on the trek will come from NWOBHM legends Diamond Head.
