Heaven & Hell Might Peform Ozzy Songs Next Year

Jed Gottlieb of BostonHerald.com recently conducted an interview with legendary heavy metal guitarist Tony Iommi. I thought this question was the most interesting:

On performing only Dio-era Sabbath songs as Heaven & Hell:

"We love 'War Pigs' and 'Iron Man' and 'Paranoid', but we've played those for 40 years so it's been a nice change. Maybe next year we'll do some of the old stuff."

Did Dio agree to that? I remember and interview with Dio where he said he's not interested in performing Ozzy's stuff.

U.K.'s Absolute Radio conducted an interview (which you can find embeded below) with Dio where he said this:

"I don't hear Ozzy doing Heaven & Hell so why should I sing Ozzy-era songs?

He's right because I want to hear Dio do Dio's stuff. I don't want to hear Dio sing Paranoid or War Pigs. I want Neon Knights, Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, or Die Young, not Sweet Leaf for the 1 billionth time.

If you want to play some new numbers .. I suggest you play Holy Diver and The last in Line.
I remember Black Sabbath playing Smoke on the Water in the Ian Gillan days.
