BLUE OCTOBER WANT TO TOUR WITH KAYNE WEST, U2 and DEPECHE MODE?
In a recent interview with MTV2, BLUE OCTOBER was asked who their dream tour would be and the answers might surprise many of you. The Texas outfit’s unique blend of melancholic guitars, big choruses, and darker lyrics, can be heard on their recent Approaching Normal album. Lead singer Justin Furstenfeld told MTV2, “I’d like a cocktail of U2 headlining, Kings of Leon opening, Peter Gabriel opening that, and then Kayne West opening that with Blue October opening the whole thing up.” Furstenfeld and the rest of Blue October are currently out on their “Crazy Making” tour which also features Switchfoot.

Blue October also recently released their official video for “Say It” which is the band’s latest single from Approaching Normal. The vibrant clip was directed by Kevin Kerslake who has also worked with Nirvana, Green Day, and REM, among others. Approaching Normal, the band’s fifth album, was helmed by legendary producer Steve Lillywhite whose stellar credits includes records by Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones, and U2, to just name a few.
