Seattle grunge icons Alice In Chains will play a small, intimate gig at London, England's Scala on August 4 — two days after playing the second stage at the Metallica-headlined inaugural Sonisphere festival, set to take place on August 1-2 at the legendary Knebworth Park, United Kingdom.

Some purists out there might be skeptical of William Duvall and his ability to front Alice in Chains. Let me ease your fears, he's great. Sure he's no Layne Staley, but he's also not gaked out on heroin. We enjoyed the show when they opened for Velvet Revolver. Mine as well give them a shot in a smaller venue.
