Drowning Pool Return Home
Drowning Pool returns home today after playing a private show for the troops at Guantanamo Bay on Memorial Day, May 25th. The invitation from the U.S. Navy comes two-years after the start of the “Soldiers” campaign. Through commitment and perseverance, the band have played over 300 shows and are geared up to release the 4th single from their CD, Full Circle.
“Anytime we get the chance to play in front of the troops, it is a great honor and they’re always the best crowds. When we got the call we were like - hell yeah, let’s go rock Guantanamo Bay. It’s a once in a lifetime chance and I don’t know of many artists that get an invitation like this,” says Drowning Pool frontman Ryan McCombs.
I am not really a fan of their music anymore, but I will try to post as much about them because they do an amazing job supporting the American Armed Forces. Good job Drowning Pool. I salute you.
