According to Hits Daily Double, the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS, Lacuna Coil's new album, "Shallow Life", is on track to move between 20,000 and 25,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

Lacuna Coil's previous CD, "Karmacode", opened with just under 34,000 copies back in April 2006 to land at No. 28 on The Billboard 200 chart. It has since sold more than 200,000 units in the U.S.
