Aerosmith to Play 'Toys' Album on Tour?

I guess the thing to do this year is play one of your most iconic albums in its entirety. Motley Crue is doing it will Dr. Feelgood (link), Judas Priest will play British Steel (link), and now Aerosmith may play Toys in the Attic.

According to Classic Rock Revisited, Aerosmith is considering performing an entire album on their upcoming tour with ZZ Top Guitarist Joe Perry told VH1 Radio's Dave Basner that he would like to do "Toys in the Attic" and while he would not confirm or deny if it would happen, the inside scoop says to expect an announcement before they kick off their tour June 10.

It is a cool thing to do, to play iconic albums. But I am just trying to figure out where it has become the thing to do. It seems every band who has had a career defining album is playing that album this summer.

I have seen Aerosmith live many times and they put on a great show. However, the songs that get the loudest ovation are the ones from Pump, Get A Grip, and that song from the Armageddon soundtrack. Those fans are not going to like No More No More or Toys in the Attic (song). But we shall see, 'tis only a rumor.
