Killswitch Engage Announce Date for New Album
Massachusetts' finest hard rock purveyors Killswitch Engage will release their eagerly anticipated fourth album, entitled simply "Killswitch Engage", on June 30 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was produced by Brendan O'Brien (AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine) and co-produced by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Reckoning", "The Forgotten", "Light in a Darkened World" and "Starting Over".
Commented vocalist Howard Jones: "It was time for us to step outside of our comfort zone and try something a little different with this record. It definitely still sounds like us, but we needed to be refreshed and take things a little further."
I hope it sounds more like their awesome cover of Dio's Holy Diver. If it does, you can expect me to be a first day buyer.
Since that version is live, you can click here for the official music video.
