Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Eddie Vedder and others will appear on May 3rd at New York City's Madison Square Garden at a 90th birthday tribute show for Pete Seeger. Backstreets.com reported that other acts confirmed to appear at the event include Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris.

All proceeds will benefit the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, an organization founded by Seeger over 40 years ago. Tickets are expected to go on sale this weekend.

I have no idea what might go on at this show. Will Bruce, Bob, John and Eddie perform Seeger classics. Are they going to perform their own songs, but have Seeger accompany them? Then again, it might just be a big circus with tigers jumping through flaming hoops and Seeger as the Ring Leader. Guess you should go and then report back to us.
