So I am feverishly bidding on the internet for what is considered "the holy grail of comics," Action Comics #1. The auction ends and I lose the comic. God was I pissed, but then I heard that John Dolmayan, drummer for System of a Down, purchased the comic. I took solace in the fact that I was bidding against him after seeing his band many times.

I lost the comic, which sold for $317k. I must add that I was out of the bidding at $1,000. Thanks in part to all of you refusing to click on any of the ads strewn across the website.
