The Austin Chronicle is reporting that Metallica will be playing Stubb’s on Friday, March 20th as part of this year’s SXSW festival. The performance will be to promote their “Guitar Hero: Metallica” game. The festival organizers have not officially confirmed the band’s appearance yet.

The SXSW performances are usually in small clubs and just the mere thought of Metallica playing a small club makes my pants tight. I'd love to see them do an acoustic show at SXSW. That would more than likely make my tight pants wet.
