Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp With Steven Tyler
This years Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp will be headlined by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Also slated to apepar is Duff McKagen (Velvet Revolver, Guns N' Roses), Todd Rundgren, Steve Lukather (Toto), Bruce Kulick (KISS), Alan White (Yes), Elliot Easton (The Cars).
The camp is set to take place from April 29 to May 3 in Hollywood, California. Tyler has also donated autographed memorabilia for a charity auction benefiting MusiCares to be auctioned at the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp's closing event at the Whiskey a Go Go on the Sunset Strip.
I just never understood Rock N' Roll Fantasy Camp, just like I never understood Baseball Fantasy Camp. The philosophy is "let's spend a shit load of money to pretend to be baseball players, rock stars, and hookers for a day. Yes we will get to hang out with real baseball players, rockstars, and hookers, but we could have done that anyway." Before this goes any further, I had a career day in high school and spent a day with a real life hooker. She smelled like piss and tuna. My high school called it "Hooker Fantasy Camp."
The money goes to a great cause, but I don't understand who would pay that kind of money. There is a phrase about this...a fool and his money will soon....Oh I know who would pay it:
