I was in the movie theaters and was about to watch Taken, the movie where Qui Gon Gin kicks the shit out of sex dealers. I am watching the previews and a trailer for Crank 2 comes on. It is the most over-the-top, frenetic trailer I have ever seen. The movie stars Jason Statham as some dude who needs a car battery to keep his heart pumping. Why I have no idea, but I am sure Crank 1 would explain that. The movie looks improbable and the trailer was so ridiculous the entire movie theater laughed AT it.

Enter Mike Patton ex-Faith No More frontman. He just completed his first major motion film score for the film Crank 2: High Voltage  - set for April 17 release. Too bad his name will be attached to a movie no one will watch and no one will remember.
