Motley Crue on A&E Biography...Tomorrow!

Back in 1998 I watched VH1's Behind The Music: Motley Crue nine times in 11 days. I even trimmed my Christmas tree during the Nikki Sixx heroin overdose story. A glorious Christmas, indeed! The thrill wore off in 2001 but then The Dirt  and YouTube came to my rescue and I no longer need those pop culture pimping whores at VH1 to air Behind The Music re-runs.

A&E's Biography: Burt Reynolds held the same mysterious allure as Motley Crue's Behind The Music but that also plays like a worn out record in my head now. I spent many months clutching my copy of The Dirt on the crapper when the fantastic news finally broke. A&E Biography: Motley Crue! I gassed up the car, pulled the sun shade from the windsheild (ok, maybe not in that exact order) and prepared to drive to the nearest Salvation Army to procure a VCR for the occasion when tragedy struck. I saw the YouTube preview and realized that it sounds like a shot for shot remake of Behind The Music. Only Vince Vaughn can get away with that shit...damn you A&E!
