Quick story about The Pretenders: I am a HUGE Pretenders fan. I bought all their albums including the new one Break Up The Concrete. I was dating a girl who I will call Beesa Molsen and she loved the sell out song "I'll Stand By You." Every sappy teenager has heard this song, but the problem is that isn't the real Pretenders.

Well Beesa thought it was and when I played Pretenders her ears bled, literally bled,  while listening to instant classics like Tattooed Love Boys, Precious, and The Wait, she moved to New England.

So onto the real story, Chrissie Hynde was outside of a McDonalds on Monday with the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). They were boycotting the McDonalds claiming that the chickens were routinely abused in slaughterhouses.

"I'm 57," Hynde said, holding a "McCruelty. I'm Hatin' It" sign. "What kind of teenage would know who I am? But their parents know."

At one point, she climed onto the shoulders of PETA Vice President Attention McTension Whore and was surrounded by McDonald's security gaurds.
