Pearl Jam and Neil Young To Record Mirror Ball 2?

Rockers Pearl Jam are keen to collaborate with their hero Neil Young for a second time - because they are confident they could make a much "better record" together, 14 years after they first hit the studio with one another.

The band teamed up with the legendary star to produce 1995's Mirror Ball - a collaborative album which spawned a subsequent tour with Young.

And bassist Jeff Ament admits they are desperate to get back in the studio with Young in a bid to build on their previous work. He tells NME magazine, "If Neil called us now, unless we were in the middle of making our own record, we'd do it in a heartbeat.
"Making Mirror Ball was great, but we made it in four days. It would be really fun to make a record with him now knowing what we didn't know then. I think we could make a better record with him."

Has it been over 10 years for that collaboration? Damn, I feel old because I bought that album new. Pearl Jam is a great band and I enjoyed Mirror Ball, but I don't know if Neil Young really needs to team up with Pearl Jam again. Neil doesn't do too much anymore.
