Revamped Wolfmother Has Appeared

Some bands fade out way too early. Wolfmother was one of them. They broke up shortly after delivering their promising debut album Wolfmother. That album had some great songs on it like "Joker & the Thief," "White Unicorn," and "Dimension."

Andrew Stockdale, ex-Wolfmother main main, has a new band called White Feather. According to ABC.au, the group played in Brisbane (February 6) and Sydney (February 8), and are trying to keep the shows low-key. The gigs included songs from the band's self-titled 2005 debut, as well as a handful of new material.

Stockdale told the crowd at the Sydney show, "A few things have happened ... I have got to say it's so great just to be able to play some music nd share the music — do what we know, do what we love."

The new Wolfmother will next play on March 22 in Adelaide, Australia, this time under its real name. A spokesperson could not confirm whether the players Stockdale was currently using would remain permanently.
