Puscifer Will Make Live Debut

Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan is prepping his side project, Pusciferfor its live debut this weekend in Las Vegas. He told The Pulse of Radio that he expects all three shows to be very different from each other and from a Tool show.

"As long as we're all communicating on the particular premise of the evening, it should be unique each night," he said. "That's the challenge. The challenge here is not to dig up demons and explore an album that you'll be listening to and playing backwards looking for messages for decades to come. This is more about being in the moment and trying to pull off something that's, in a way, far more volatile than something that's well planned out."

Puscifer, a loose collective of musicians, performance artists and comedians, will perform on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (February 13, 14, and 15) at the The Pearl in the Palms Casino.

All three shows are sold out, but a limited number of VIP tickets are available through Ticketmaster. According to a press release, the $225 packages provide the holder with a premium seat, a pre-show meet and greet with the act, an autographed bottle of wine from Keenan's vineyard and a signed commemorative poster.

That might be the strangest ticket package I have ever seen. A meet and greet, a great seat, and an autographed bottle of wine? Anyway, here is a promo of the Vegas shows.
