Lynam To Embark On Winter Tour
The Birmingham AL hard Rock band LYNAM, will be hitting the road in support of their newest effort “Tragic City Symphony”. The album made our year end list of Top Albums and we reviewed this album here.
The tour starts on February, 13th in Memphis, TN at The New Daisy Theater and ends on March 14th in Battlecreek, MI at Planet Rock.
LYNAM released their new album “Tragic City Symphony” August 26th through New Ocean Media. “Tragic City Symphony” is the highly anticipated follow up to their 2006 release “Slave To The Machine”. The first single from the effort “Save My Soul” hit #5 on the Active Rock independent chart late last year. Songs from the new album have also been featured on the #1 rated reality show “A Double Shot At Love” on MTV. The second single from the album “Lindsay Says” will be impacting rock radio in April.
"Tragic City Symphony" was produced by Jason Elgin (MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER, COLLECTIVE SOUL) and Jacob Lynam.
"Elgin brings out the best in us and on this new record he has pushed us to new levels. The songs are straight-ahead, melt-your-face rock songs in true LYNAM style. We have some really cool special guests on the new record, including the band HINDER and Tom Keifer of CINDERELLA”.
Along with Jason Elgin, the band also enlisted Mike Shipley (GREEN DAY, MAROON 5) and Beau Hill (RATT, STEVIE NICKS) on mixing.
LYNAM's last album, "Slave to the Machine", was released in 2006 after the band signed to DRT /Universal (CLUTCH, GWAR). The album peaked at #21 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and #19 on the Heat- seekers chart. The first single "Tanis" went on to achieve the#1 spot on both the active rock independent and mainstream rock independent charts. The band is managed by Union Entertainment Group (NICKELBACK, RED).
