Stars to Create Tribute Album to Nick Drake
Artists including Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones and Jack Johnson are set to appear on a forthcoming Nick Drake tribute CD.

On 25 November 1974, Drake died from an of overdose of amitriptyline, a prescribed antidepressant; he was 26 years old. He also took some awesome pictures:

The project, which is scheduled to be released later this year, was confirmed by David Schulhof, co-founder of US publisher EverGreen Copyrights, reports Billboard. Schulhof said the project would also include a previously unreleased video starring Heath Ledger on the accompanying DVD.
Ledger is understood to have filmed his version of Drake's 'Black Eyed Dog' in late 2007. The actor had previously expressed a desire to make a documentary about Drake.

Pink Moon also demonstrates Nick's failing sense of reality thanks to psychosis due to him smoking a shitload of cannabis. Pick up Pink Moon and give it a listen. The whole record is about 25 minutes long, so it won't take you too long to listen to it.
