Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame Fatigue

PhotobucketThis year Metallica will be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, joining the ranks of artists that douche bags like Jann Wenner have deemed important because of their record sales. This is the collision of two pathetic corporate walking punch lines; the RnR Hall and Metallica. This marriage of unholies is akin to seeing steroid loving retard quarterbacks on dates with the rape prone head cheerleaders. I can taste the vomit in the back of my mouth.

Does Metallica deserve the be inducted into Jann Wenner's dork club? Yes. Do they deserve to be inducted at this time. No. If the Hall of Fame was a credible institution, then Metallica should wait their turn because of everything they did wrong in the 90s. But alas, credibility went out of the window along with Jann Wenner's soul and that Rolling Stone with the Jonas Brothers on the cover. So I guess they deserve to be inducted on the "merits" of everything they did in the 90's.

In an interview with someone more important than BnR, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich said they would like to see Motorhead and Deep Purple inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Good choices, lads, but shouldn't they be inducted before you? Forget to mention that? Then again, Motorhead is that much cooler having not been recognized by Jann Wenner's iPod.

Here is the part where I would demand certain that certain artists be recognized but in the immortal words of Anthony Kiedis, that would be a waste of time. I'm too lazy to calculate the year of Nickelback's induction so enjoy the picture of this Nickelback fan and the awesome Wendy O. Williams video posted below. She should be inducted in 2010 along with GG Allin.
