Bruce Springsteen Hypocrite?
When you think of music who has always stuck up for the working man? The blue collar, hard working, men and women of this country? No it isn't Coldplay; it is Bruce Springsteen.
Bruce has made a career out of sticking up for workers and their rights. But he released his Greatest Hits package through Wal-Mart yesterday, a company that the AFL-CIO and American Rights at Work blame for “Main Street’s whitewashed windows and vacant stores” that haunt “My Hometown.”
You can't ask Bruce this question because he isn't talking about it. I think he owes us a little explanation. It can't be about money because Bruce is loaded. So there has to be some other reason. Bruce, we are waiting.

Fans will call you on that stuff, as it should be."Ok, so he put the album out to appease Columbia Records, but ...

I could buy that if it was an upstart band who has no creative control over their destiny at a large record company.
But Springsteen is the "BOSS"...pun intended. He controls what Columbia does to a certain degree.
