The man who calls himself Alice Cooper will reunite with the band that once called themselves Alice Cooper at Monster-Mania Con in Cherry Hill New Jersey (classy, no?) All original members will be present with the exception of guitarist Glen Buxton who died in 1997.

Glen Buxton was my favorite member of the Alice Cooper band and regularly drank with Jim Morrison, so I consider him lucky to have lived past 27. The black shirt Morrison wears on the cover of Waiting for the Sun actually belonged to Buxton. GB kindly lent his shirt to the Lizard King after he "misplaced" his shirt during a night of binge drinking. Alice Cooper was a band before Alice Cooper was a man. The band sounded better than the solo act, just remember that when you are deciding if you should buy "Love It to Death" or "Welcome to My Nightmare.
