Ted Nugent Classics to be Reissued

This press release is so awesome I am going to post it verbatim:

Six classic Ted Nugent albums — "Nugent", "Penetrator", "Little Miss Dangerous", "If You Can't Lick 'Em…Lick 'Em", "Spirit of the Wild", and "Full Bluntal Nugity" — will be reissued by Eagle Rock Entertainment on February 3 (prebook date January 14, retail list price for the catalogue is $9.98, with the exception of "Full Bluntal Nugity" at $11.98).

"Nugent" (1982) is the self-titled album that tells it like it is. "Penetrator" (1984) is ever-ready arena rock, as opening track "Tied Up In Love" launches itself from the speakers with its epic bombast. "Little Miss Dangerous" (1986) has just enough grit to keep those "sell-out" chanters in check. "If You Can't Lick 'Em…Lick 'Em" (1988) delivers more stripped-to-the-bones rock and roll. Kicking back into high gear with 1995's "Spirit of the Wild" proved that the seven-year hiatus only gave Nugent more time to brew up some kick-ass rock.

"Full Bluntal Nugity" (2000) saw this tornado of a man whipping through Detroit in a rousing live set, featuring bassist Marco Mendoza and sticks master Tommy Aldridge. Featuring classic cuts such as "Cat Scratch Fever", "Free For All" and "Fred Bear", the roar of the Michigan crowd in the background stands as proof that this man brings it home with authority.

I remember the first Ted Nugent album I bought. I found Cat Scratch Fever on vinyl at a Goodwill store near me. The cashier was a young girl probably my age at the time (17 years old). For those unfamiliar with Cat Scratch Fever on vinyl, it looks like this:

The girl gave me the strangest leer as I walked up and placed the awesomeness on the counter. I made sure to give her the full effect as I flipped the album over and said "He makes the pussy purr with the stroke of his hand." Then I gave her exact change and left.

Now if I was as cool as Ted Nugent she would have followed me out and jumped my bones in the back of my parent's Explorer. But I am no Ted Nugent, so I had to use roofies.
