Steven Seagal Mojo Project

It isn't everyday you can post a music story about Steven Seagal. Some argue we still shouldn't, but our Saturday in college was spent watching this man on TBS or some other low rent movie channel. Not to mention Joe Wettner was almost kicked out of high school quoting the man.

I grew up with a steady does of Mississippi Delta blues. My father only listened to classics like John Lee Hooker, Hound Dog Taylor, Howlin' Wolf, Big Joe Williams, Muddy Waters, just to name a few. It took me much later to get into the Chicago Blues, like Bo Diddley, Willie Dixon, and Charlie Musselwhite. (Of course Muddy, Big Joe, and Howlin all had cross-over efforts and Muddy is the godfather of Chicago Blues.)

So I understand and love the blues. Then I had it killed by Steven Seagal. He released an album entitled Mojo Priest with full songs heard on his MySpace site (http://www.myspace.com/stevenseagalmojopriest)

It is important in blues to not sound like you are trying too hard and to give the song feeling and emotion, but Steven lacks feeling and sounds like he is trying way to hard. I urge you to check out Steven's MySpace, while we attempt to procure an interview with him.
