In the ever increasing war for game and song exclusives in Rock Band and Guitar Hero, Harmonix seems to score the bigger fish. Sure Guitar Hero has an exclusive game around Metaliica coming out sometime in the Spring of 09, but Rock Band has The Beatles.

The fab four are getting their own game and Harmonix stresses that it won't be just an expansion pack like the new (my words not theirs) game or that god awful Aerosmith game (again my words).

Details are sketchy, probably because Harmonix has no idea what they are going to do with it. Fans can expect this game to be out around the holidays next year.

What could be in the game? I hope the infatuation between Eric Clapton and George Harrison's wife is explored. You could try to play your best gig and the only way to keep your wife is to play flawlessly on Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) that will include the tough sitar portion. Start practicing!
