Steven Adler Hoping for Guns N' Roses Comeback
Adler, 43, who was fired from the band over drug problems in 1990, also hopes to reunite with his old bandmates, said his attorney, Barry Gerald Sands.
"When he gets sober they'll accept him into the band and then they'll do a comeback album and a world tour, that's the dream of Steven Adler," Sands told Reuters, after an upbeat Adler entered his plea in Los Angeles Superior Court.
I think Steven was still high when he mentioned that dream. I am hoping for a true Guns N' Roses reunion, but I don't see that in the cards just yet. Anyone who thinks that might happen, even if Adler cleans up, is fooling themselves. He has to repair the damage he has caused with Slash, his best friend. And then Slash needs to promote Adler to Axl, who never really liked him anyway.
I would recommend watching his appearance on Celebrity Rehab 2, but it is very sad to see him. I really wish him luck because he is battling a life long addiction to heroin. Many rockstars have beaten their heroin addiction, Slash and Nikki Sixx to name just two. I really hope Adler can do it for good.
