Rolling Stone - First Review of Chinese Democracy

David Fricke of Rolling Stone is the first to do a write up for the long awaited Chinese Democracy album from Guns 'N Roses. The full write-up can be viewed here.  Enjoy it, but my first thought is that it's a fantastic work of fiction. The best part is all the reader feedback.

Now I will pose a question.

Honestly, when was the last time anyone looked to Rolling Stone for any sort relevant musical guidance?

Rolling Stone magazine is a giant sized....err standard sized piece of irrelevant crap.

I will believe an album review of Chinese Democracy when I read it on this site.  I know it will be a review I can trust.

I'm not going to review the review, but my biggest problem with it is all of the comparisons to the previous GNR albums. You can't compare the GNR of today to the GNR that blessed us with Appetite for Destruction.  This is why I am starting a petition to rename the band Guns 'N Roses 2. Simple.....yet sophisticated.  I'm certain their success will be comparable to that of Coke 2 or even Pepsi Kona.

Seriously, we've all heard the single. It's alright. Was it worth the wait?.....only you can decide.

I do know someone who doesn't like the album.......
