Stone Temple Pilots drummer Eric Kresz will miss the conclusion of the STP reunion tour this month due to the death of his father. He will not be replaced by John "Stumpy" Pepys or even Joe "Mama" Besser because these men don't exist. Former Diamond David Lee Roth skin-man Ray Luzier will be filling in the remaining dates.

In a not-so random sidebar, Scott Weiland has voiced his uncertainty about the future of the Stone Temple Pilots because he and Kresz are currently in a girl slap fight with Atlantic records. It looks something like this:
Weiland vs. Sorum and VR, Weiland & Kresz vs. Atlantic records, Weiland's solo album vs. Sorum, VR, Atlantic records, STP. Kresz vs. Death. The enemy of my enemy is my...I'm confused.
