Chinese Democracy Gets Release Date
It has happened. The impossible has happened. Guns N' Roses have set a release date for the highly anticipated Chinese Democracy...and well before people expected.
The album will be sold on the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving, November 23. It will be exclusive to Best Buy only.
Shackler's Revenge was featured in Rock Band 2 and the vocals sound like Trent Reznor fucking a cat forcing it to scream. However, it totally rocks. I included a video of the song below. Of course, it isn't official, but it still gives you an idea. The song includes a robotic guitar solo from the infamous Buckethead. Axl's vocals are a bit strange, but the chorus makes it worth it.

Just when you thought that the impossible has happened, the impossible has really happened: MTV has launched a new "beta-version" website solely for music videos (currently, over 16,000 of them). Similar to Youtube, the site offers users the ability to embed videos in other pages and (those other useless features of) leaving comments and ratings. Ads seem to be more minimal than Youtube, but more importantly, MTV is owned by Viacom, who has been responsible in the past for bringing lawsuits against Youtube for copyright infringement. This new site has the potential to be quite the ...

How can they say that this is a GnR album when most of the original members are playing elsewhere? This should just be a solo album for Axl.
The robotic, techno-ish sound that underlies the entire song sucks. The vocals suck. If this is the single, purportedly one of the best songs on the album, then this album is going to suck.
I haven't been anticipating or waiting for this album in the slightest and I still feel disappointed, not just for GnR or for Axl or for rock 'n roll, but for humanity as a whole.

I thought the chorus was kind of rocking.
Though the techno part is crap.

Hmm, I wrote that late and very staccato. I apologize.
Shackler's Revenge is a track off the upcoming Chinese Democracy and should give you a slight idea as to what the rest might sound like.
Also remember that with the release of Chinese Democracy, if you are an American, you get a free Dr. Pepper.

Wait! You mean November 3rd, ten years after Axl dies and after another 18 years of legal battles to get it released. Is that asshole gonna sue us already? Nobody fucking cares about him anymore. Who does he think he is, Streisand? We should just stop talking about it because Axl Rose is completely full of shit and he has bad hair and he looks like a moron and his band sucks and his mother is a whore and his name is Bill Bailey and I'm not going to forget that because if he had any balls left he would change his name back to Bill Bailey and release that fucking turd of an album because nobody should care that his name is Bill Bailey and his album sucks a fat one. SO JUST RELEASE THE FUCKING ALBUM ALREADY, BILL Bailey! Asshole!

The word unlistenable comes to mind. Also, I don't think Buckethead has been in the band for a few years. Axl, save Dr. Pepper the inventory in this soft economy and don't release this piece of shit. You have already screwed your legacy. Is it really worth it any more?
P.S. - Don't sue us.
