AC/DC - No Bull The Director's Cut DVD Review
This is AC/DC's latest DVD release filmed on July 10, 1996 during the Ball breaker tour is called No Bull. The DVD was filmed at the illustrious Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas from Madrid Spain, a Spanish bull fighting ring that hosted AC/DC for a night. This is the DVD follow up to Live at Donnington, the gold standard of AC/DC live DVD's...until now.
I would recommend going with the Blu-Ray version of this DVD if you have the ability. It is far superior visually and in sound quality to the standard DVD. This translates into a crisper, louder, and cleaner sound, which you will easily appreciate once Angus Young rips into the opening riff of Back In Black.
The DVD starts out by panning the crowd to see the testosterone filled Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas. There is a building onstage and a large crane that hoists a giant wrecking ball into position. Fireworks explode on the crane and it begins to slowly swing the wrecking ball toward the building onstage. As the ball nears the building the audience OOH's and AAH's. The wrecking ball picks up steam and smashes through the building knocking the second level off and forcing Angus to rip into Back in Black. He emerges in his typical schoolboy outfit and plays the beginning of the song. The rest of the band emerges, Malcolm Young (brother of Angus and rhythm guitarist), Cliff Williams (Bass), and Phil Rudd (drums). Just as you are about to sing the lyrics you know so well, Brian Johnson emerges to sing for you.
The DVD continues hit after hit, Shot Down in Flames, Thunderstruck, Girls Got Rhythm, Hells Bells, you know them all and you love them all. But this DVD has a bit more songs from the Ball Breaker album, Boogie Man, Hail Caesar, and Hard as a Rock. It also has some early Bon Scott recordings that didn't appear on Live at Donnington like, Dog Eat Dog, Girl's Got Rhythm, and Shot Down in Flames. The DVD also has Rock N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, a great track from Back in Black.
If you already have Live at Donnington, you can easily add this to the collection. If you are wondering which one to get...hmm should I go with a pun? What the hell. There is NO BULL about which one you should choose.

RnR train has just everything that made acdc famous for 30 years now.
Not the greatest acdc song but it's good.
Let's now wait for the tour dates !!
