Thanks once again to Lars Wettner (who it seems is only interested in Metallica related news) for this tip.  According to Blabbermouth.net, there are unconfirmed internet reports that a French record store has sold some copies of the upcoming Metallica album "Death Magnetic".  Those of us whose memories still span all the way back to 2003 will recall that Metallica rushed the release (and apparently the recording) of their last studio album, St. Anger, to avoid leaks.  Will lightning strike twice?

Leave it to the French to mess up a release that has clearly been planned for months.  It seems that they've learned the lessons of past idiots and haven't leaked the album yet, like somebody else we have read about.  For your viewing pleasure is a sweet video of these morons opening the album.  I'm sure Lars Wettner already has his pants around his ankles.
