Lars Ulrich and his son Myles like to play Guitar Hero and Rock Band together. Lars backs up what I have been saying for a while, video games are bringing rock music back. Kids are learning about Deep Purple and Cheap Trick through playing their songs on Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Anytime a kid is exposed to such awesome artists, it can only be a good thing.

"It's a cool generational thing to share that with your kids," said Ulrich. "My [son's] favorite bands are ... the same bands that are my favorite bands — the bands I grew up on."
