Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain, apparently hated Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose. This is according to a guy who is trying to sell copies of his book.

The guy trying to push his book is the former president of Mercury, Atlantic, and Warner Bros Records, Danny Goldberg. He says in the book that:

"Rose had the kind of macho rock persona that Kurt detested"

According to Goldberg, there was a tour in the works with Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and Nirvana and Kurt refused.

"There was a lot of money on the table. Kurt really liked Metallica"

I can only assume that the tour with Metallica and Guns N' Roses was the infamous Guns N' Roses-Metallica Stadium Tour. The tour was marred when in Montreal, James Hetfield stepped in front of a pyrotechnic flash and burnt his left arm pretty badly.

If you want to learn more about this, you should read Slash's Autobiography. It has better insight into this tour. Metallica made a killing off the tour because their set was minimal and toned down. Guns N' Roses made very little due to Axl's extravagant parties backstage and refusal to go on at the correct time.
