Katy Perry's Mom Hates Homosexuals
Some parents like to live vicariously through their kids. They don't care about the success or well-being of the child as long as they are famous. You can see this in Lindsay Lohan's parents, Brittney Spears' parents, and various others. But in those two cases I listed, the parents never outright slam their kids for the publics attention. That would be Lindsay's father. He would rather slam his daughter in the news than say something complimentary.
What does this mini-rant have to do with music - Katy Perry's mother, Mary Hudson. That is how we are tying this back to music. Katy Perry has a number one single entitled "I Kissed a Girl" - a flirty dance number about kissing a member of the same sex and enjoying it. The whole song is tongue-in-cheek, no pun intended, about the issues surrounding women who kiss other women for attention. Sometimes people in the media can't discern a playful, whimsical, and satirical take on society. Those organizations take the song as truth. "Oh my god Katy Perry kissed a girl. She is a lesbian."
The problem is there are not enough organizations understanding the song and thus the predominate news story is that Katy is gay and enjoys kissing women. Then some stupid, half-wit journalist reaches out to Katy's evangelical Christian preacher mother and asks for a comment. Well how do you think her mother, who is a preacher, will react to a song about her daughter kissing a woman? This way:
"I hate the song. It clearly promotes homosexuality and its message is shameful and disgusting. Katy knows how I feel. We are a very outspoken family and she knows how disappointed her father and I are. I can't even listen to that song. The first time I heard it I was in total shock. When it comes on the radio I bow my head and pray."
Well if you two talk, you would realize the song is a slam at those fake lesbians only seeking a free drink at the bar or the attention of the mongoloid alpha male with his hair spiked up like a Gotti, glaring white shoes, and his popped collar.
If you weren't so busy impressing assholes, fake lesbians, you wouldn't have to degrade yourself in front of nice guys who might want to get to know you for you. But you keep doing what you are doing and get raped at a frat party to the tunes of Breaking Benjamin. Check out our in-depth interview with a reformed Frat guy.
Oh and here is a little insight into the mind of a sexually active male. If you are a fat slob who looks like a beached manatee, kissing another female, no matter the hotness of said female, will not turn guys on. If they are not recoiling and stiffling that night's dinner, they have lost all their horiness for that evening. Just be happy with your spot on the sexual food chain...drunk frat guy's last resort.
