Staind Performing in Times Square
We got this press release from Hard Rock International, which runs the Hard Rock restaurants.
On August 19, Hard Rock International will present its global Ambassadors of Rock Tour at the "crossroads of the world" Times Square.
What the fuck does the crossroads of the world mean? Times Square is only the crossroads of Broadway, 7th Ave, and W. 42nd and 43rd streets. Back to the task at hand, Staind will be the "Ambassadors of Rock." Here is the best part:
"Some of the biggest names in music have become part of our Ambassadors of Rock program over the last three years — from The Who, The Police and Eric Clapton, to Bon Jovi, Fergie and John Mayer. We are thrilled that Staind joins the exclusive list of Hard Rock 'Ambassadors,'" said Sean Dee, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Hard Rock International. "We are also proud to partner with VH1 Save The Music and continue to show support for music education."
Rock is a terrible state of disrepair if Fergie is an "Ambassador of Rock." The only thing she is an ambassador of is being hit in the face by a rock. Oh snap!
Also, Staind hasn't really been good since Dysfunction. When my mother asks "When is the new Staind album going to be released?" You know you have crossed the line from rock to pop music.
