Howard Stern to Produce "Rock N' Roll High School" Redux

America's favorite son, Howard Stern is teaming up with writer/actor/director Alex Winter (aka Bill S. Preston Esq.) to remake 1979's most triumphant film, Rock N' Roll High School. Stern's bank account will produce the film while Alex Winter will handle the writing duties.

Stern would be a shoe-in for the role of Screeeamin' Steve, the lanky, be-spectacled radio jock from the original, but who can fill in for the irreplaceable and now extinct Ramones? Say what you will about Stern, at least he won't put some candy-asses like the Jonas Brothers in his film.

I nominate Van Halen, regardless of whether the film takes place in 1979 or 2009. Only Diamond Dave can save this film from the curse of suck-ass remakes.

Honestly, can you top this?
