A sheet music site recently released and then immediately removed the names of the songs for the new Metallica album, Death Magnetic.  In response, Metallica has put them out, probably a little earlier than they originally planned.

7. “The Unforgiven III”

The Unforgiven III?  Hmm.  I've always found FMQB to be a credible source, but is it possible that somebody is pulling our chains on this one?

When St. Anger came out, the band said that it was a "return to their roots".  We all saw how that turned out.  Bob Rock did a decent job transforming the band in the early nineties and just got stale after 13 years.  Hopefully working with Rick Rubin will help the band to reinvent themselves.  They need to stop trying to write the music that they would have when they were 23 years old and let the creative process take over.  The only way I will accept a throwback Metallica album is if James Hetfield gets his acne back and once again becomes the ugliest man in America.
