Jimi Hendrix Sex Tape Part Deux
As we reported back in this article, there is a Jimi Hendrix sex tape out there. Well Vivid Entertainment, owners of the sex tape, say that the estate of Jimi (Experience Hendrix, LLC) failed to prove it WASN'T Jimi on the tape.
Mr. Hirsch (co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment) said: "In early May we made a good faith offer through our attorneys to pay $100,000 to Experience Hendrix if it could offer proof within 60 days that our tape was not authentic. We always knew it was real and were confident that the Hendrix heirs would be unable to substantiate their claims."
It is nice to see such a sleasy empire like Vivid Entertainment seeking a good faith offer. How about this good faith offer? "We own the sex tape of who we think is Jimi Hendrix. We love Jimi so much that we have decided not to profit off this tape and hand it over to the heirs of Jimi's estate." or "We have decided to donate all proceeds from the sale of this DVD to the estate of Jimi Hendrix."
But I suppose that isn't the motto of porn companies. You can buy the tape directly from vivid.com for $40.00. But I seriously have to ask you, in this day and age of the internet, file sharing, and bit torrents, does anyone REALLY pay for porn? Just the other day, I provided Flemington with about six free porn links. I haven't heard from him since. Don't pay for porn people...it's un-American.
